Welcome
to the Craftmark
Craftmark is a cross border network and economic development initiative for those involved in the Craft, Applied Art and Design Sector in Ireland’s East Border region (Armagh, Down, Louth, Monaghan). Currently the project team is researching funding for future opportunities for the artists designer makers in this region and hope to have an update in the New Year.
In the meantime Louth Craftmark and Craft Design Collective (formerly County Down Crafts) continue to actively work in their own regions. Please visit the network websites for information on upcoming exhibitions and opportunities.
In May 2008 Craftmark held an Open Studios event Craft Map across the East Border Region. With nearly 30 studios participating, please take the time to visit our online interactive map and feel free to contact the individual artists/designer/makers if you would like to visit their studios for unique Christmas gifts.
The RDS National Craft & Design Fair will be held on December 3rd to December 7th in the RDS Dublin. Craftmark will be assisting 18 artists/designer/makers to attend the event which is the leading public craft fair in Ireland. Details of the artists/designer/makers attending with Craftmark can be found here >>
